Kendriya Vidyalaya (Central School) IIT Powai is a government day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It offers classes from I to XII . The majority of seats are reserved for the children of IIT Bombay employees, with a smaller fraction allocated to other Central Government organizations. To obtain an LGP connection at IIT Bombay, bring your accommodation allotment letter to Maharashtra Gas Service located at 'Powai Plaza' on the main road outside IIT (JVLR).
Make sure to keep your accommodation allotment letter in a secure place as it serves as proof of address for various purposes, including applying for an LPG cooking cylinder connection.
